Hello lovely readers!
These are a few photos from my holiday in Cheddar. (Yes, the place where the cheese comes from!) We went to the beach a few times when the sun decided to peep out. Somerset has extremely high tides, so we didn’t see the sea much, it was miles out! Because of this, the sand was really firm and not very fluffy. But this did make a great surface for playing beach games. We were obsessed with playing ‘beach tennis’ and think that the tennis association people should add Sand to the other surfaces, as well as grass, hardcourt and clay. Our first day at the beach was the one time we ever touched the sea, and we went for a nice paddle in the evening.
There was also an enormous hill which was like a mountain. I was very reluctant, but we climbed it and saw some beautiful views. I have added another post with some pics from the top of the hill.
Please note that I am NOT a professional photographer.
These are the pics I took at a beach called Brean.
That’s the hill I had to climb. Can you see the stair, and the tiny people at the top? I was dying.
These next few are some photos I took at the beach in Weston Super Mare.
Which is your favourite photo? Have you been to the beach this year?
I hope you liked this post.
Thanks for reading.
