About this blog.

Hello lovely readers!

This blog, ‘the stars reach out’ will include: (amateur) photography, art, writing, beauty, and just…life.

This is my second blog.  My other blog is all about books, films and TV shows. But this one is going to be a lot more personal.  Its basically about what I love and what I’m inspired by.

The title of my blog- ‘the stars reach out’ -has some particular significance to me. The full sentence is ‘the stars are reaching out to me.’ It is taken from a line in one of my poems called ‘Inspire me’, and is originally from part of the translation of the French version of ‘Let it go’ from Disney’s Frozen. ‘les étoiles me tendent les bras.’

I called my blog that because I think this phrase is beautiful; the imagery and the meaning. It really stood out when I was reading the lyrics of the song. Just think about the words for a minute. I think it means that the stars in the sky are reaching out to you, because they want you to look up and appreciate the enormity and beauty of it. It makes our day to day problems seem so tiny in comparison. But my favourite interpretation is that the stars want to inspire you.

They are reaching out. They’re saying “Aim high, and achieve greatness. Find and create beauty wherever you go.”

I’ll try my best.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this blog.

  1. I like this “Aim high, and achieve greatness. Find and create beauty wherever you go.” You have a good range of interests where you’ll be able to demonstrate this saying, especially through your writing and photography. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. 🙂
